Born for Burning Radio: Cauldron

With the coals still burning at the Union after last weeks sold out EvilDead show, Born For Burning never fucking rest and continues to bring the fire for all you LA maniacs. This Tuesday, October 10th, Cauldron make the trip down from Toronto Canada with London town rockers Amulet (UK) supported by Skelator from Seattle and our favorite hometown speed freaks Nightmare. You can save a few bucks by picking up presale tickets for $15 at Dark Realm records, or online HERE.

To celebrate this international display of heayy metal force, Cauldron take over Born For Burning Radio and put together a banger of a playlist just in time for your weekend mayhem. So strap on your leather, throw on your spikes, drink to the death and raise hell, but most importantly PLAY VERY FUCKING LOUD!

BORN FOR BURNING PRESENTS: CAULDRON

1. AC/DC – First Blood (Only Brian Johnson is real. Features my favourite lyric ever “Some like it hot, some like it quite not so hot”)
2. Saracen – We Have Arrived (Amazing video, NSFW!)
3. Shakin’ Street – Solid as a Rock (Ft. Ross the Boss, check out that gitbox sound!)
4. Paradise Lost – True Belief (Pretty darn obsessed with this album. Great song to end it all to!)
5. Nightcrawler – Soldier in Time (Meanwhile in Cleveland, 1989. Was lucky to score this LP recently)
6. Survivor – The One That Really Matters (Major pump up tune, million dollar chorus on this one)
7. Master (RUS) – Will and Reason (Ultimate fake crowd noise breakdown)
8. Baphomet’s Blood – Metal Damnation (Feel good Italian steel!)

Jason’s tunes:
9. London – Drop the Bomb (Great band, great song)
10. Nocturnal Rites – Test of Time (Heavy Metal!)
11. Arcade – Nothing to Lose (Dave Mustaine (?) side project. I remember getting home from delivering newspapers just in time to catch the last chorus of this on Power 30, I was instantly hooked)
12. Pantera – Takin’ My Life (“Def Leppard” era Pantera rules)
13. Immortal – Moonrise Fields of Sorrow (Seasonal Metal)
14. Vandallus – Who’s Chasing Me (Only new band I like, best current American band!)
15. Thor – Gotta Eat (Always a real party starter… Might as well be Anvil.)
16. Stormwitch – Sword of Sagon (It’s October…)

Myles’ tunes:
17. Black Sabbath – Nightmare (This is a total drum massacre track.)
18. Holocaust – Push It Around (Solo section makes me want to get in a fist fight)
19. Kiss – Magic Touch (My favourite Kiss song ever written)
20. David Wilcox – Bad Apple (Total Can/Con material right here. Kind of a shit song but I can’t help myself.)
21. Sir Lord Baltimore – Chicago Lives (Second record is my fav and this is a great jam!)
22. Bang – Last Will and Testament (Sad, mellow track from their first record. This was in their set list when we played a couple shows together)
23. Mötley Crüe – Fight For Your Rights (Greasy riff with a killer beat. Tommy Lee has a big influence on me.)
24. Ashbury – Madman (I listen to the Endless Skies record at least once a day!)

The boys:
25. Roxx Gang – Nine Lives (Listened to this album every day on the way to the studio the other week. Major influence!)
